Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens is a 400 acre garden in Belmont, NC about an hour from my home. They are celebrating the opening of a new garden area called Meadow Walk this fall. Fiber Art Options, a fiber art group to which I belong, hung an exhibit, “Meadowood Stitched” , on Friday as part of the celebration:

Fall with a Flourish began yesterday with the first day of Autumn Faire. Vendors and artists were invited to participate. I was given a space in the lobby near our exhibit where I was able to work on my newest piece and demonstrate my techniques and talk about our exhibit. It was wonderful to meet so many visitors to the gardens and get the chance to share my love of all things fiber.
If you will be in the Charlotte area, please plan some time to visit the Gardens and our exhibit.

And apparently I can’t spell my own name.
That’s strange! My original comment isn’t showing up (the one where I misspelled my name).
I am so proud of you, and the hard work you’ve done, and the risks that you have taken to become the artist that you are. Congratulations on the exhibition! I hope to get down there to see it..
I wondered about your comment on your name spelling!
And I really appreciate your comment and compliment!
