My daughter, Rachel has moved home. She has a new job starting Monday in Mt Holly and her husband, Adam, will be here in 2 weeks. He has a new job in Charlotte. We are excited about their move home; they’ve been in St Louis for almost 3 years. Since she’s been here, most of my time has been spent with her – visiting and catching up, looking at houses, shopping, all sorts of things. We’re headed into Matthews in a little while to take Ted out for lunch. And then we’re off to look at apartments. I haven’t gotten much time in my studio this week and the little I’ve done has been on projects that have deadlines and have rules that the projects can not be shown publicly until the entire group is done. So….. no neat arty/quilt stuff to show today. You’ll have to just enjoy the updated picture of my chicks!
Can you see the difference in my chicks? They are much bigger and they have feathers! A couple have almost finished growing their wing feathers, and all but one has some sort of tail feathers. The brown speckledy one and the bigger red one have started growing their feathers on their backs. They play with grass or chickweed; love to scratch in sand, and ate grits last night! They are too cute!
Until next time (when I hope to actually show you some quilt stuff!) have a wonderful day.
