Sunday afternoon was spent at my daughter’s house. She is the lady on the left with dark hair. The lady in the middle is a good friend named Brook and the lady on the right is another good friend (and my son’s girlfriend!) named Lauren. We’ve been getting together about once a month to do something crafty. We’ve been knitting, but when they saw the charms I had made with the Pandoras (see my earlier post), they wanted to play too. So, I took my polymer clay, stamps and stamp pads, paints, sharpies, etc to Rachel’s house and we spent the afternoon together.
It was so much fun to watch what they did with the materials! I forgot to take the official Shrinky Dink material, but took a few clear plastic salad boxes and they worked ok (they react similarly to Shrinky Dink in the toaster oven).
What I forgot to do!!!!! Is take pictures of our results! So, ladies…… I’ll need to either have you send me via email some pictures of what you made OR you’ll need to let me see them again so I can take some pictures for this blog.
I love being with these wonderful ladies. They are talented, loving, generous young women who I am blessed to know.
